Went to king david high school in Johannesburg
then enrolled at the waterfront theatre school then
returned to Zimbabwe in 1998 where he conceptulised the formation the urj
An eclectic melange of musicians from all over the world who collaborate and perform with Charles and the urj across the globe
His sound is a Balkan Afro Latino jazzy funky reggae world fusion with songs in various languages
He is energetic and spontaneous on stage ,as well as interaction with the crowd the level of musicianship is first rate
